Cathy was introduced to a mindfulness practice from a very young age and loves helping others manage stress while increasing a sense of calm and balance. Cathy’s passion for youth development and well-being motivates her to stay informed about current and groundbreaking practices in the field of resiliency, stress management, and mindfulness. Using evidence-based research, Cathy equips and empowers students at George Washington University with practical life balancing tools through course instruction in Stress-Management and Yoga. Cathy also teaches breath work, mindfulness, and yoga to corporate America throughout the greater Washington, D.C. area. Cathy is convinced that practicing mindfulness can build resiliency and help anyone achieve a well-balanced and happy life. She holds a BA in International Studies from Elon University and an M.Ed in Counseling and Development from George Mason University.
